Gatekeepers who are they?

Until the other day with Lisa William's member chat, I'd only heard of a Gatekeeper in the movie Ghostbusters. So I began to really wonder who and what a Gatekeeper is.

Here is what I found
The Gatekeeper is one who is at the door as you enter this world and leave it. Makes me think about the boat ferry guy. But Gatekeepers are also in control of the flow between both worlds. So they control the door or gate.

Ok, so you have a spirit guide who is helping you understand and where to be and what you need to get in order to travel this path. Spirit guides are ones who make you notice your gifts but the Gatekeepers are the ones who control how much you get and when you get it. Hmmmm... so me and my gatekeeper need to chat.

Next fact... Gatekeepers are also called Spirit Controllers. Since they control how much spirit/energy you get and how much you don't.

Gatekeepers can also protect you by not letting the door open so you won't contact spirit/energy which is harmful to your progress. They may shut the door also because it isn't time for you to see or know things.

so I take it when you are getting in bits and pieces of info though your gifts, this is the door keeper's doing. So if I see part of a ghost and mostly in dark shadow, I should be asking my gatekeeper to open the door more? Wonder if that works or if anyone has tried it? Besides that do we talk to the gatekeeper or do our spirit guides talk to him/her? hmmm...

My head wants to say yes, we can talk to the gatekeeper directly but at first most of us go through our spirit guides. This is because its easier for us to contact them and we tend to first rely on our spirit guides before going to higher angels or gatekeepers and such.

And yes your gatekeeper has a name if you want to ask. So from what I've read online and through a couple of my books, gatekeepers are not as close to the Ghostbuster one other than you need one to open the door. And I don't think they all look like dragon-beast, lizards on a pestle either. Nice to know. Have to love Ghostbusters for taking that whole Gatekeeper to a new level of theatrical.
