The things I do

So I've been looking for psychic fairs throughout the state. I've found several. One put me on their waiting list, one is going to let me know the details for an upcoming fair and One I'm not sure was for me. If anyone out there as a psychic ever thought putting your webpage up and hanging out or even putting ads up would be enough, you probably are finding out that isn't the case. Most psychic fairs are full because they are small and the same people do them which is great unless your trying to break in to the majority of the fairs around the state. So getting new biz is hard and getting into smaller more often fairs can be harder. Not to say you can't find some bigger shows, they are out there and I will probably pay up for them in the next couple of weeks. It's just a lot of work and unless you are like me and love this job because you love people, its hard to keep up.

On another note,
Remember as you get your information in, don't add things to it and just say what it is in your mind. Normal advice any psychic out there would tell you and I agree with it. But every so often you do a reading or are just chatting away and you do this. You say what it is that comes to your mind.
Like Apple. Only the person was having an orange for lunch. Now you didn't get told before hand they were eating any fruit or anything. So in my eyes, this counts as right. Mainly because fruit is a fruit even if you didn't get the right one.
Or maybe you were doing a reading and said over the phone, its windy where you are at. The person comes back and says no. At first you think you are way off and somehow picked up something wrong but later you find out this person is sitting right in front of a fan. Their hair is even blowing because of the wind the fan is creating. So in my eyes here, you were right again.
Or maybe you said a city but you didn't get the right one. Only the city you said was close in size, crime and makes you think of the same thoughts as the other one. Well, your right again.
You can only hope the person getting the reading realizes how hard information is to interpret and you have been told not to add anything to the information you are getting in.
My advice if this starts to happen to you, is to use the tag line everyone I know uses.

I'm getting "...." but that might mean its like this or is this.

and then wait to see what they say back.

That way when you say apple and they say orange. You will get them to understand you were right. We are not using this for cold reading but to make it easier on people who may not understand how the information comes in to us. and you won't have to explain it to them.

Hope that helps anyone else who is getting similar items for the correct ones. I know for me this helped a ton and made me understand why so many psychics say it this way. Its not because we are wrong, its just we tend to see fruit as any fruit and wind from any source blowing your hair as windy.
