Our Guides!

I was at a site and chatting with some nice people when a guy came in and said his guides have lied to him before. He wanted me to be careful because I might find they were lying to me. Of course he believed this was to help me and to get me to learn that all information is to be verified. I'm not buying this at all.
First my guides are what have gotten me where I am in life and have always helped me in every way. They have never lied because guides are not held to our own way of thinking. And I DO NOT believe for a second they would lie for me to learn.
They however would direct me to someone who would lie or to a situation which may cause me to make sure the information is correct. They themselves though would not and have not lied to me.
Do your guides lie to you?
I realize some information coming in may not be easy to understand and sometimes I've been lost at what they want me to know but never been lied to by my guides.
I believe all guides are our friends, family and loved ones from this life or past ones who want to help us and have no reason to lie to us in any way. They want us to follow the easiest path there is and they know what that is even if we do not.
It is and I totally believe this without doubt, it is only when we are stubborn or not listening that our lives go badly. When we listen, life is smooth and filled with wonderful moments.
Yes, our guides want us to learn but not at the expense of losing faith in them or in the other side.
NOW when your guide has you go somewhere and something bad happens like boyfriends, car problems and such, it is so you land where you need to be. They wouldn't lie but they would have you go to a park to walk and let's say that makes you late and you find out a year later, you being late lost you the chance at a job. But if you hadn't lost the chance, you wouldn't have the perfect job you have now. NO lying just paths they put you on. It might I guess feel like they lied at the time but I really believe they can't lie to us.
I hope one day this person can tap into the other side without doubt and can trust those who are there to help him. May peace and light follow him until then.
